Ralph J. Thomas 78 of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away and went to heaven to see his Mom and Dad again on May 25, 2014. He was with his family in his passing. He lived his last years in Sissonville close to his daughter and grandchildren. He was born July 12, 1935 in Corning, Arkansas. He was a Retired Engineer with CNW Railways with 30 years of service. He enjoyed training Labrador Retrievers and won a State Championship in Iowa. Preceding him in death were his Parents, Brothers, Don and Bill Thomas and Sisters, Gertie Campbell and an Infant Sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Hazel Marie Thomas; daughters Connie Weber and husband Terry of Sissonville, WV and Billie Robinson and husband Bob of Lebanon, MO. Grandchildren, Chris, Tony, Jessica and Brice. Great Grandchildren, Faith, Collin and Lilly. Graveside Services and burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville with Pastor Lawrence Conger, Jr. officiating. In Lieu of Flowers the family requests Memorial contributions in Ralph's name to Kanawha Hospice Care, 1606 Kanawha Blvd. W. Charleston, WV 25387.
