Mrs. Phyllis Withrow, 78, of Charleston, WV, went home to her Lord and Savior on May 21, 2025. She was born on July 2, 1946, to the late Owen and Violet McCallister.

In addition to her parents, Phyllis is preceded in death by her beloved husband Russell Withrow and her first husband and father to her sons, Carlos Stover Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons Carlos (Michelle) Stover of Spencer, WV, and Greg (Louise) Stover of South Charleston, WV, four sisters Freda Bradley of Saint Albans, WV, Teresa Pegram of South Carolina, Lois Adkins of Nitro, WV, and Janice Handley of Ona, WV, brother Richard McCallister of Hurricane, WV, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at North Charleston Apostolic Church with Pastor Anthony Moss. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park in Hurricane.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. before the service.
