Obituary
Phyllis Haning Winter, 88 of Poca, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 1, 2018.
Phyllis worked in Putnam County Government for 20 years in Sheriff, Assessor and County Clerk officies. She retired from Nitro Sanitary Board.
Phyllis loved her church and singing in the choir. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, whom she loved all dearly.
Proceded her in death was her husband Robert A. Haning; parents, Rev. Jesse and Lola Wolfe and her baby sister, Carolyn June Wolfe.
Phyllis is survived by her husband, Charles Winter; sons, Robert Anthony Haning of Jacksonville Beach, Florida and D. Michael Haning. Four Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you for the care and love she received from Teays Valley Center.
Funeral Services will be held at Rock Branch Independent Church, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Delbert Hawley officiating. Interment will follow at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM on Monday at the church.
