IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Peter Allen
Triplett
August 10, 1961 – August 11, 2022
Peter Allen Triplett was born in Charleston on August 10, 1961.
Arriving into this world just minutes before his little brother, Jonathan, Peter proudly claimed the title of "big brother" of the Triplett twins.
For the next 61 years he carried that mantle high.
His life's work and travels might best be summarized by Matthew (5:8)
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
In Pete's eyes the world's glass was way-more than half full. His positive perspective shown most brightly in deep love of family, fierce loyalty to friends, and never ending devotion to God.
In his true love for people Pete was infamous for never having met a stranger.
Quick with a handshake, his short introduction could quickly evolve into a short life story that usually finish with a big heartfelt hug.
Pete was blessed with keen sense of humor, but his words also quaranteed to
the unvarnished truth.
Closest friends and family can attest to Pete's infatuations… cars and cuisine.
At any given opportunity Pete could easily provide more intricate details on torque, horsepower, lift, braking distance, and big blocks than the average person might ever want to hear.
But it was his passion for food that may have been his greatest indulgence. Besides consuming every known cookbook, magazine, or TV show available on the subject Pete was a consummate chef himself never hesitating to emulate even the most intricate recipes of the all-time culinary greats.
Our world's great friend, Peter, passed quickly, but peacefully on August 11.
He will be missed, but definitely not forgotten.
In lieu of flowers the family requests any contribution be made to United Way or St. Andrews UMC in St. Albans.
