Perry Allen Legg Jr. went home to be with the Lord to sing in his heavenly choir on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Born on April 26, 1955 to the late Perry and Bessie Legg.

He was a loving husband, father, and papaw. His daughters lovingly called him the baby whisperer. Perry was a devoted Christian, family man, and spoiled husband. Gospel music was his passion and his calling was spreading the word of God through gospel music. Perry was a baritone singer with the West Virginia Couriers and various other Southern Gospel groups. He was a testament to God's love and faithfulness.

In addition to his parents, Perry is preceded in death by his brother Roger Legg and sister Sherry Anderson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 50 years Martha Legg, daughters Jennifer Boggess, Denise Kirk, Kacie Owens and Kayla Layne, son-in-laws Matt Owens and Robert Layne, brother Ricky Legg, niece Kerri Haynes, and grandchildren Savannah, Caden, Hunter, Reece, Devyn, Alex, Jaylynn, Slade, Landyn, Asher, Blake, and Chase.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Lighthouse Worship Center in Sissonville.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Lighthouse Worship Center in Sissonville. Burial will follow in Floral Hill Garden of Memories.
