Paul Burdette Paul Burdette, 90, of Charleston passed away May 20, 2011 at his home. He was a life long resident of Kanawha County, and loved to Coon Hunt. He is survived by his loving Wife, Patricia "Patty: Burdette; Brother and Sister, Buddy Burdette and Violet Cobb. Children, Irene Slater, and Helen Skeens, both of Sissonville; Danny Burdette and his wife Debbie of St. Albans; Juanita Parsons and her husband Charlie of Charleston; Gene "Pork" Burdette of Ripley; Auty Burdette and his wife Gina of Sissonville. Grandchildren, James "Will" Slater; Randy "Lee" and Mikey Whittington; Danielle and Nathan Burdette; Mikey Parsons; and Tasha Matlock. Great Grandchildren, Kayla Slater; Hunter, Logan and Lakenzi Whittington; Lexi Moss; Cassie and Miley Whittington; Bruce Mason; Alyvia, Kaylee and Kadi Matlock. Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday May 22, 2011 at the New Prospect Baptist Church, Sissonville, with Deacon Arnold Burdette officiating. Burial will follow in the Shaffer-Burdette Cemetery, Legg Fork. Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 6 to 8 pm at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the Church.
