Patricia "Patty" Young, 57, of Sissonville, passed away peacefully, August 26, 2017, with her family surrounding her bedside.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Perry and Helen Larch; father-in-law, Carl Young.
She was a former CNA at Cedar Ridge, with 20 plus years of service. She enjoyed camping and her cats.
Surviving are; her husband of 42 years, Michael Young; mother-in-law, Opal Young; sons, Michael Young Jr and wife, Linda, and Christopher Young; 17 year old granddaughter, Cassie; grandsons, Chris Bubby Burdette and wife, Bethany, Mike Harper and wife, Lyndsay, and Joey Myers, who she loved as a grandson; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Liz and Sherry; brothers, Joe, Wayne and Ashley Larch; special nephew, Jeremy Combs.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, August 29, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor Ben Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico.
Visitation with the family will be from 11 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
