Patricia "Patty" Wheeler
Patricia "Patty" Wheeler, 75, of Pinch, passed away October 28, 2017, with her husband by her side, after a long battle of cancer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry F. Smith, and Hazel Harmon; and sister, Kathryn Hammack.
Patty was a 1960 graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, worked as management in Billing Department at several local hospitals. She was a longtime member and Pianist at First Baptist Church of Pinch, and was a dedicated wife and mother.
Surviving are, her husband, Carl Wheeler of Pinch; sons, Larry A. Wheeler and wife, Diana of Fayetteville, and David M. Wheeler and wife, Cara of Staunton, Virginia; brother, Danny Smith and wife, Lucy of Charleston; grandchildren, Brian Wheeler, Kevin Wheeler, Baleigh Wheeler, and Charleigh Wheeler; great-grandchildren, Alexandria Lynn Wheeler and Bentley Addison Wheeler.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2017, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor Vince Button officiating. Burial will be in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville.
Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 2, also at the funeral home.
