Patricia Ann Taylor Patricia Ann Taylor, 68, passed away Monday, September2, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House, after a long illness. She was born December 26, 1944 in Roane County to Virginia and Roy Armstead. She worked at the Corner Restaurant and Shop A Minute for many years. Pat loved spending time with her grandchildren, Whitney, Dustin and Jacob and her great-grandson, Bentlee up until the day she died. She seldomly got to see her granddaughter, Johnna, and great-granddaughters, Destiny or Hailee. Her niece, Andrea wouldn't allow her to see her grandson, Zach, but Pat's family wants them to know, she loves them very much and they have always been in her heart and always on her mind. Pat loved sitting outside on her porch on sunny days, and working on jigsaw puzzles. She also enjoyed crosswords and playing cards with friends and family, before she got sick. Family members preceding her in death are her former husband and lifetime friend, Frank Taylor; parents, Virginia and Roy Armstead; and infant daughter, Pamela Ann. Those left to cherish her memory are; daughter, Lora Crouch; and son, Mark Taylor both of Charleston; brother, David Armstead and wife Betty of Winfield; sisters, Connie Morris of Dunbar and Linda Kinder of Charleston, brother, Allen Armstead of Elkview; grandchildren, Whitney Crouch, Dustin Crouch, Johnna Taylor, Jacob Taylor and Zack Taylor all of Charleston; great-grandchildren, Destiny Crouch-Hogan of Big Chimney, Hailee Crouch and Bentlee Crouch both of Charleston. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with the Rev. Jerry Walls officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, September 6, at the funeral home.
