Orville Ray "Bud" Jones 76 of Kenna departed this life Sunday March 16, 2014 at his home following a long illness. He was born January 17, 1938 in Charleston, son of the late Orville B. "Coon" and Reba Tully Jones. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Beulah Jones and his four children, Becky Barnard and Toby Shaw of Bridgeport; Tammy Ashworth and Marty Kinder of Sissonville; Barbara Boggess of Cross Lanes and Orville "BJ" Jones, Jr., of Kenna; sisters, Barbara Lou Vincent and husband Hanson of Elyria OH; Nancy Buckner of Charleston and his birth twin Betty Kay Talbert of Charleston. Bud has eight grandchildren, Jeremy Barnard and Jessica; Randy LeMaster and Leanna; Sarah Sell and Rickey; Nikki Hilbert; Mark Boggess; Owen Jones; Abbigail Jones and Alice Jones. He also has one great grandchild Easton Jones Barnard and is expecting another great grandchild, Mason Paul Sell. Bud served in the United States Marine Corp. and was stationed at El Toro in Santa Ana, CA. He also spent time during his service in Okinawa, Japan. He then worked for the Ford Motor Company in Loraine OH, and eventually retired as a mason. He was a gunsmith all of his life and enjoyed spending time outdoors working on his Koi pond. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday March 20, 2014 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Jordan Cemetery, Kenna. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, March 19, at the Funeral Home.
