Ona I. (Iby) Scragg
Ona I (Iby) Scragg, 83, of Sissonville passed away, December 1, 2017, from Dementia, at Angel's Touch Personal Care home.
She was retired from General Motors. Iby was a Christian and a member of Kanawha Two-Mile Gospel Tabernacle, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and assisted her husband with numerous Christmas plays.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Scragg, parents, Gove and Lettie Anderson; and sisters Phyllis and Freddie Anderson.
Surviving are; sisters, Nadine Ashby and husband, Alvin of Charleston, Elizabeth Vance and husband, Charles of Milford, Ohio, and Joyce Carpenter of Charleston; nieces, Bethany Daley, Charla Magna, Judy Proctor, Karen Clendenin, and Nancy Butler; nephews, Chad and Nathan Carpenter, Shawn and Brent Scragg.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle Church, with the Reverend David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the Jenkins Memorial Cemetery, Rich Fork of Kanawha Two Mile, Charleston.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service also at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are asked to be sent to the Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle Building Fund; 3807 Edens Fork Road, Charleston, WV 25312.
