Norman Kent Mobley, 58, went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 17, 2010. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Mobley and granddaughter, Hannah Grace Mobley. He deeply enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He loved going to the farm where he and Papaw Skeens would spend many days building and repairing things. No matter work or play, he loved the farm. He loved spending time with his sons, Jamie and Josh, especially watching WVU football and basketball games. He cherished the times he spent with his grandchildren as did they with him. He is survived by his loving mother, Dorothy (Lanier) Mobley; children, Jamison and Joshua (Chastity) Mobley; grandchildren, Andrew, Kody, Dylan, Taylor, Madelyn and Emma Mobley; brothers, Carol, Keith, Larry and Curtis Mobley; and sister, Janet Atkinson. Funeral Services will be Friday July 23, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Evangelist Mike Miller, officiating. Burial will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
