Noldus Garrett, Songer, Jr. Noldus Garrett "Jr." Songer, Jr., 81, of Charleston, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Jr. loved the Mountaineers, Cincinnati Reds, and fishing. He attended Sugar Creek Community Mission Church. He is survived by his sister, Virginia Short of Cross Lanes; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to niece, Pamela Bird with whom he made his home, and for the great care he received from her and his caregivers, Michelle Bird and Greg Hughes. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Friday, January 11, 2013, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Jim Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston.
