Nina Lee Flowers Nina Lee Flowers, 86, of Charleston, passed away, March 27, 2013. She was retired from Kanawha Valley Hospital. Nina was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett; sons, Eddie and Dan Flowers. Surviving are, daughters, Wilda Kessinger of Marmet, Pat Taylor and husband, Shotgun of Charleston, Shirley Stone of South Charleston, and Debbie Morton of Charleston; sister, Hallie Newhouse of Charleston; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren. To her family and neighbors she was known as Granny. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Burl Jones Cemetery, Legg Fork of Tuppers Creek. Visitation with the family will be noon until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
