Naomi E. Myers, 81, of Charleston went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 12, 2017.
Naomi was born in Charleston where she worked for 37 years as the executive secretary to the branch manager of GMAC, a job that she was very proud of. In her spare time she was an avid bowler. She spent the last few years of her life living in paradise, aka the Florida Keys.
She was a member of North Charleston Baptist Church for several years before moving her membership to Layton Community Baptist Church where her son-in-law is the pastor.
She is survived by her only daughter, Robin Davis, of Long Key, FL, brother Grant Thaxton, of Culloden, sisters, Peggy Thaxton, of Charleston, and Suzie Officer, of Stearns, KY. And last, but not least, her beloved cat, Rascal.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday September 18, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Davis officiating. Graveside service will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donation to be made to the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association, of the SPCA.
The family will accept online condolences at: cpjfuneralhome.com
