Nancy Lee Glenn, 85, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2010 at Meadowbrook Acres. She was an Inspector at the Naval Ordinance Plant during WWII; was a longtime employee of McCroys Five and Dime Store, where she worked her way up to Manager. After her Retirement she worked at Sears. She as a Member of Starcher Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Anna Cherry; Husband Earl V. Glenn; Sisters, Betty Lucas, and Margaret Canterbury; Brother, John W. Cherry, Jr. Surviving her are Daughter, Judith Hill and her husband Robert of Hurricane; Son, Stephen Thomas of Vinton, Virginia. Grandchildren, Lauren Thomas of Vinton Virginia; Kenneth Hill, Stationed in Korea and his wife Angelea; Jeffrey Hill and his wife Cheryl of Lexington, South Carolina. 5 Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday April 14, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Robert L. Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Springhill Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
