Monty Ray Burdette 75 of Cross Lanes passed away August 17, 2015 at Hubbard Hospice House. He was an Automotive Mechanic with Florida Street Gulf Station, Charleston. Preceding Monty in death were his parents, Okey Virgil and Ruby Pearl Baldwin Burdette, and his son Randall Wayne Burdette. Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Witt and husband Michael of Red House and Robin Renee Baker of Centerville, Ohio; brother, Hershel "Pete" Burdette and wife Karen, of Sissonville; sister, Ilene Kidd and husband Oscar of Sissonville; four grandchildren, Joshua Witt of Colorado, Natasha Wilson of North Carolina, Jonathan Wilson of Ohio and Mikayla Burdette of Cross Lanes and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services for Monty will be 1:00 PM Friday August 21, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home and Memorial Services for his son, Randall Wayne Burdette who passed away July 12, 2015 will be jointly held with Pastor Michael Good officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services.
