Mildred Thaxton 89 of Sissonville passed away April 17, 2013 at her home after a long illness. She was a Homemaker. Preceding her in death was her husband Earl Edward "Mike" Thaxton; her parents, James E. and Florence Walker Harper and several brothers and sisters. Surviving her are half- brothers, Deanea, Roger and James Harper all of Sissonville; half-sisters, Lorraine Smith of Sissonville and Meretha White of Kenna. And several Nieces and Nephews who are also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday April 20, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Leroy Conner officiating. Burial will follow in the Abb Thaxton Cemetery, Tuppers Creek, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be 2 hours prior to services on Saturday.
