Mildred C. Burdette 87 of Tuppers Creek went home to be with the Lord June 18, 2017 surrounded by her family.
She was a loving wife, mother, grand, great and great great grandmother and member of Silas Gospel Tabernacle.
Preceding her in death was her daughter, Elizabeth "Betty" Slater; sisters, Odessa Burdette and Anthel Newhouse; brother, Shaffer.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Charles W. "Bill" Burdette, Sr.; children, Charles W. "Bill" Burdette, Jr., Teresa Payne and husband Bill, Ralph L. Burdette, Gary Burdette and wife Wilma and Mike Burdette, all of Tuppers Creek.
Grandchildren, Chucky and Teddy Payne, Chasity Robinson, Travis Burdette, Jesse Slater, Jr. and Jenifer Atencio. 10 Great Grandchildren and Five Great Great Grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday June 23, 2017 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Thursday June 22 also at the Funeral Home.
