Mike McClanahan, 73 of Sissonville passed away April 23, 2018 surrounded by his family.
Mike was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a retired Carpenter with Local 1207 Carpenters Union.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Archie and Vivian Burford McClanahan; brothers, Bobby, Ronnie and Buck McClanahan and his sister, Phyllis
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 50 years, Clorena Taylor McClanahan; daughters, Kim Shaffer and husband Tim, Michele Webb and Cindy Wiblin; sons, Archie McClanahan and wife Angie and Mikeal McClanahan and companion Libby; sisters, Vonda Burdette, Linda Taylor and husband Willard, Juanita Youngblood and husband Lynwood and Brenda Eary and husband Cliff; brother, James McClanahan and wife Betty. Nine Grandchildren and Eight Great Grandchildren. Many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins who are also left to mourn his passing.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday April 26, 2018 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Humphreys officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services. Burial with Military Graveside Rites will follow in Goff-McClanahan Cemetery, Sissonville.
