Greener field I have gone to see And flowers beyond imagining Be glad and rejoice with me I am free, at last, from suffering Michael Allen Looney, 58, of Charleston, formerly of Akron, Ohio passed away on August 7, 2014 at Hubbard Hospice House. Michael was employed by Shawnee Hills and Prestera Mental Health Centers for 22 years, holding various positions from substance abuse counselor to IT Technician. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Auseon Looney of Akron, OH, paternal grandparents Orlan and Pauline Looney of Looneyville, WV, maternal grandparents William and Geraldine Auseon of Ohio, sister-in-law Penelope Dunlap Harper and nephew Sloan Harper of Wildwood, NJ. Survivors include his wife Cindy, daughters Kaitlyn and Chelsea Looney of Charleston, father and step-mother, Gene and Dorothy Looney of Cross Lanes, sister, Mary Hager and husband James of Oklahoma, sister, Robin Howell and husband Jerry of Ohio, brother, David Looney of Charleston, brother-in-law Earl Dunlap and wife Beverly of Georgia, niece Christine Kuss and husband Matt of Texas, great-niece Emily Marie Kuss, and nephews Zachary Hager of New York, Joshua Looney of Cross Lanes, Eric and Bradley Dunlap of Florida and Destyn and Kalib Harper of New Jersey. Michael's final request was to be cremated. There will be no memorial service.
