Michael William Hoffman, 47, of Sissonville, went home to be with the Lord on March 7, 2016. Michael was the owner of Jimmy Dunn Excavating, Sissonville. He also loved camping, hunting and vacationing with his family. But his grandchildren were his pride and joy. Michael was also a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and a born again Christian who trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. He is survived by his loving wife, Kimberly L. Hoffman of Sissonville; daughters, Tiffany Miller and Chasity Burdette, both of Sissonville; grandchildren, Abigail Shawver, Whitney Burdette and Joey Miller, all of Sissonville; father, Charles W. Hoffman and wife, Diane of Ridgway, PA; mother, Monica R. Sorbera and husband, Tom of Falls Creek, PA; sisters, Tracey Dickey and husband, Gary of Cary, NC and Ashley Hoffman of Pittsburgh, PA; and brother, Bryan Hoffman of Homer City, PA. Also surviving are numerous extended family members and friends. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 11, 2016 at Maranatha Baptist Church, Charleston, with Pastor Kevan Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville. Friends will be received at the church two hours prior to service time.
