Megan Michelle Mowrer Baldwin (37) passed away unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm on June 26, 2025.  Megan was born on August 8, 1987 in Charleston, WV.  She was a 2005 graduate of Sissonville High School, a graduate of Carver Career Center and Charleston School of Beauty Culture.  She was a former beautician in the Charleston area.

Megan had a wonderful personality and a beautiful smile, lighting any room she walked into.  She was a loving and caring person that never met a stranger.  She would do anything for anyone at anytime.

She liked doing crafty things and doing things with her hands and took pride in the fact she was learning new skills and taking on new projects remodeling her home.

Megan was also a very stubborn and strong willed individual.  Those characteristics helped her to overcome a tragedy that struck her life and devastated her world.  Sadly, she was just slowly starting to bouncing back.  Megan loved life.

Megan was preceded in death by her husband Brandon Baldwin, grandparents:  Frank and Midge Mowrer, and Maurice and Carolyn McLaughlin.  Uncle:  Shawn McLaughlin.

She is survived by her parents, Bruce and Tammy Mowrer, her sister Jill Mowrer Straight (Scott), her brother Jarrett Mowrer (Courtney). Aunts:  Barbara Smithers (Jay), Tanya Slater, Lisa Sword (Andy) Uncle: Mark McLaughlin.  Her children Kenneth and Kayana Mowrer. Nephews:  Dylan Straight and Rhett Mowrer. Cousins: Carrie Darby, Seth Smithers, Steven and Kara Slater, Kelsey McLaughlin, Jennifer Sanson and Kelly Sword and their respective families.  Also, she leaves behind her four dogs who were her babies.

Cunningham-Parker-Johnson will be in charge of cremation.

There will be no service at this time.  A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
