Mary Josephine Pauline Day White, 96, was born in Charleston May 14, 1916 and passed away May 17, 2012 at Glenwood Park Retirement Home near Bluefield, WV with her son at her side. She was preceded in death by her first husband Arthur R. Day, her second husband Hubert Barry White, brothers, Jimmy, Roy, Herbert and Robert Pauline and sister, Margaret Parcell. Jo White retired from CAMC Nursing Pediatrics and New Born in 1974. Jo was the last survivor of the Joseph and Mary Pauline Family residing on Oakwood Road Charleston. Mrs. White resided in Cross Lanes for many years. For the last 10 years, she resided in Bluefield with her son Robert Day and wife Carol in Green Valley WV. The last 3 years she was a resident of Glenwood Retirement Home. She enjoyed family gatherings and watching her favorite TV Shows, Lawrence Welk Re-runs and The Animal Planet. Jo is survived by her children, Josephine Ann Springer and her husband Bud of Melbourne, FL. Nancy Davis of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Robert H. Day and wife Carol of Bluefield, WV, Tess Cunningham and husband Bill of Charleston and Deborah Coffman of Dunbar. 13 Grandchildren and Numerous Great Grandchildren. Nieces, Kay Parcell of Cross Lanes and Ann Polsue of Atlanta, GA. and step-daughter-in-law, Janis White of Indianapolis, IN. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Patrick Davis of Oakland, CA, her grandson, providing the eulogy. Friends my visit with the family from noon until service time on Sunday. Cremation burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
