Mary Meadows Mary Meadows, 81, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, March 22, 2013, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. She was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, a former employee of Embees and a member of the Charleston Mountain Mission Church. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William Wordie Hammack and Ora Lee Legg Hammack. Surviving are, her husband, Jim Meadows; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Michael Rigsby of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Renee and George Bratt of Charleston, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 25, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. Fairley McCormick, and Pastor Roger Neal officiating. Entombment will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service Monday at the funeral home.
