Obituary

Mary Lou Kelly Mary Lou Kelly, 75, of Sissonville, went home to be with the Lord April 10, 2010, at Hubbard Hospice House. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby Wilkinson; sisters, Betty Jane Summers and Peggy Sue Hammack. She was a 1953 graduate of Sissonville High School, and attended West Virginia State College. She was a longtime employee of J.E. Whitmire Construction Company, and was last employed at Midwest Steel. She was a lifelong member of Kelly's Creek Community Church where she was secretary; was active in many civic organizations, was an avid bowler and enjoyed the outdoors. She put family and friends before herself, and her life was her testament. Surviving are; her husband of 56 years, Billy Kelly; children, John Wilkinson and wife Trilla, Rebecca Young and husband, Terry, Bill Kelly, Jr. and wife, Cathy, Danny Kelly and wife, Karen, and Jeff Kelly and wife, Pauline all of Sissonville; brother, Marvin Wilkinson of Sissonville; sister, Jo Ann Petry of Chelyan; grandchildren, Jessica Stricklan, Jamison Wilkinson, Ricky Coon, Scarlett McNealy, Mikayla Young, Annette Kelly, Karla Arthur, Drew Kelly, Nathan Kelly ,Stacy Kelly, Jeffrey Kelly and Matthew Kelly; brother-in-law, James D. Kelly and sister-in-law, Julia Ann "Sis Bailey", and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Cletus Price and Pastor David Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Wilkinson Family Cemetery, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations to Hubbard Hospice House 1001 Kennawa Drive, Charleston, WV 25311.
