Mary Evon Fields Mary Evon Fields, 78, of Hurricane, formerly of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, January 22, 2014, after a long illness. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Fields; parents, Warren C. and Martha Moffatt Boggess ; brothers, Kip, Noble and Bob Boggess; and sister, Jacqueline Fields. Surviving are her sons, Ricky H. Fields of Scott Depot, and Dale E. Fields of Charleston; one granddaughter, and several great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Wickline and husband, Ed of Hurricane, sisters-in-law, Jewell Bailey of Sissonville, and Audrey Marece of Michigan; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, January 25, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston. Burial will be in Emma Chapel Cemetery, Liberty. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service Saturday at the funeral home.
