Mary Delorse "Dee" Shivley 61 of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on February 15, 2013 at Hubbard Hospice House. She attended Bethany Baptist Church, was a loving mother, grandmother, loved flower gardening and going to yard sales. Delores was preceded in the death by her parents, Phillip and Mary Marion. Survivors include her husband, Gene Shivley of Charleston; son, Anthony Totten and wife Debbie of Hurricane; step-son, Chuck Shivley and his wife Erica of Sissonville daughter, Marion Anderson and husband Avery of Nitro; step-daughter, Sonja Merchant of Sissonville; brother, Sherman Marion and his wife Peachie of Sissonville; brothers-in-laws, Frank, Delmer Chris, Gary Harding and Dubby Walker; Rod Shivley and wife Linda; sister, Susie Wilson of North Charleston; sister in-laws, Tonya Holmes. Grandchildren, Owen Lunsford, Emily Merchant, Kaitlynn Harless, Madison Harless, Anna Totten and Little Avery Anderson, Alexander Anderson. Cousin and Caregiver Rose Sigmon and several nieces and nephews who are also left to mourn her passing. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday February 18, 2013 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. William K. Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation with the family will be Sunday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
