Marlene Lou Walker, age 68, born on October 7, 1957 to the late Joseph and Flota Wiseman. She was raised in Charleston, West Virginia and passed away on January 21, 2026, at Cabell Health Care Center in Culloden.

Marlene was hard-working throughout her life, known for her strong work ethic and deep dedication to her family and her beloved pets.  She took great pride in gardening her flowers. A faithful Christian, she devoted much of her time to her church, helping with Sunday school and participating in numerous church activities. Her faith and loving nature touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her brothers, John Wiseman and Joe Wiseman, and several nieces and nephews. Marlene was preceded in death by her husband, David Walker; her son, Matthew "Matt" Walker; her brothers Roger "Buck" Wiseman and Joseph "Eddie" Wiseman; and her sisters Darlene Wiseman, Janet "Jen" Wiseman, Shirley "Pug" Keene, Rose Swenson, and Brenda Jarrett.

Funeral services will be held at Cunningham, Parker & Johnson Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held next week due to the frigid weather conditions.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Huntington Hospice House.
