Mark "Booney" Anthony Rowley 58 of Charleston, WV passed away September 7, 2021 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. Mark was born October 3, 1962 to Fay M. and Daniel "Junior" W. Rowley of Charleston. Mark was the youngest of three sons, brothers Larry and Gary Rowley. Mark attended Sissonville High School and graduated in 1980. He married Kimberly K. Cox in November of 1985. They had two sons, Mark Anthony Rowley,Jr in July of 1988 and Charles Daniel Lakin Rowley in April of 1991. Mark was pawpaw to Braylon, Easton, Sawyer and Brynlee. He worked for the City of Charleston Parks and Recreation Department for 38 years where he retired in July 2020. During his retirement he enjoyed being outdoors and attending Union Valley Tabernacle Church. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, September 12th, 2pm at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with Pastor Robert Legg officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.His body has been cremated. Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home is assisting the Rowley family.
