Margaret Lee Tate, 98, of Charleston passed away September 28, 2023 in Dunbar Center.

Margaret was born August 2, 1925 in Charleston to the late Earl and Docia Reed Spradling.  In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Leo J. Tate.

Margaret attended the Mountain Mission Church, Charleston.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Randy Tate of Saint Albans, and Terry Tate (Kim) of Charleston; grand-daughter, Andrea (Brandon), and her son, Declan, all of Charleston.

Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, 1325 W. Washington Street, Charleston.  Burial will follow in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at Noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
