Margaret Genevieve Hughes Hendricks of Charleston, WV born April 24, 1942 in Lewisburg, WV went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday evening February 9, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Charles Edgar Hughes and Audrey Jane Yates Hughes of Lewisburg, the beloved mother of Katherine (Billy) Wiseman of Charleston; Kenneth (Jody) Hendricks and Keith (Kim) Hendricks of Valdosta, GA and Karen (Chris) Hendricks of Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ina Geraldine Hughes Brooks. Margie had three grandchildren whom she loved greatly, Joshua and Sarah Wiseman of Charleston and Paige Wantlin of Cincinnati, OH. She had four nephews Robert Hughes, David, Doug and Richard Brooks of Fredericksburg, VA and many beloved friends and family of Elk River Church of the Nazarene, which she attended faithfully since receiving the Lord as her personal Savior in 1992. Margie, also known as Genny, had a smile and a laugh that lit up the room. Her wit, charm and love for her family and her church, her Pastor and her friends will be in our hearts forever. Her hard work has ended and now she has received her reward. She is walking the streets of gold in the presence of her Gentle Shepherd. Her homecoming service will be held at Elk River Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 6:30 pm, officiated by her Pastor Rev. Randy Ledsome. In lieu of flowers, donations to Elk River Church of the Nazarene choir was her wish.
