Margaret V. Haynes Saunders, 83, of Sissonville passed away January 25, 2012 after a long illness. She was a member of Tuppers Valley Church, loved going to church and loved her family and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Saunders, Sr.; her parents, Ira R. Liptrap and Thelma Duke Thompson, and her brother Ira Liptrap. Surviving her is her nephew, Richard Haynes and his wife Carol of Charleston; step-sons, Lawrence Saunders, Jr., of Maryland, Don Saunders of Charleston, and Kenny Saunders and his wife Shirley of Parkersburg; sisters, JoAnn Mikilinski of Pennsylvania and Dorothy Thompson of Virginia. The family wishes to extend a Special Thank You to Sharon Cotter for the loving care given to Margaret. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday January 30, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Pocatalico. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
