Macel Mae Balser Massey, 95, of Greenville, TX, formerly of Charleston went home to the Lord on April 28, 2015. Mrs. Massey was a member of Bethel Chapel, Charleston, and attended Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Greenville, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville T. Massey; parents, Preston and Virginia Mae Elswick Balser; son, Jerry Massey; several brothers; and one sister. Survivors include her loving daughter, Sybil French and husband, David of Greenville, TX; sons, Glen Massey of Long Beach, CA, and Roger Massey of St. Albans; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Earl Cochran officiating. Entombment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 PM Friday, also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name should be directed to Bethel Chapel, 3853 Woodward Dr., Charleston, WV 25312.
