Loshie Gay Baldwin, 88, passed away at home on Monday, November 11, 2024. She was born on February 17, 1936, to the late Otmer and Orsie Lanham Shamblin.

Loshie attended church regularly and enjoyed golf, baking, cooking, and was a self-taught investigator. She was an avid card player and a human lie detector. Loshie enjoyed life and her family most of all.

In addition to her parents, Loshie is preceded in death by her son Dennis Ray Baldwin, siblings Eugene, Shelva, Olaf, Corbie, Orean Johnson, Kathrine Myers, sisters-in-law Virginia "Bud" Shamblin, and Jule Shamblin, son-in-law Woodrow Willard, brothers-in-law Carl Johnson, and Delbert Myers, and several nieces and nephews.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Richard Baldwin, son Ronald Baldwin (Debbie); daughters, Connie Willard and Pamela Baldwin; grandchildren Rhonda Parker (James), Ronald Baldwin (Kelsey), Joseph Baldwin (Ronda), Marvin Willard, Tiara Kirkland (Chris), Nicole Mann (Lamont), Richard Eads (Breanna), and Jessica Eads, several great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the Charleston Mountain Mission Church, with Pastor Kenny Petry officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Garden of Memories.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to noon before the service at the church.
