Lora I. Older, 89, of Charleston passed away July 6, 2009 at Thomas Memorial Hospital, South Charleston. She was member of McKinnon Presbyterian Church, resided at Sweetbrier for almost 2 years, and enjoyed bowling. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 49 years Orville Older, Son, Faron Older, Sister, Catherine Lovejoy and Brothers, Lee, Tom, Jim, Riley, Chester, Booker, and Reese Estes. Surviving her are daughters, Joy Butcher and her husband Del, of Miami, Florida; and Judi Cantley and her husband Ed of Griffithsville; sister-in-law, Monetia Lanier of Charleston. Grandchildren; Cathy Carlson and her husband Frank; Kim Fisackerly and her husband Bill; Eddie Cantley, and Lora Vaughan and her husband Tim. Great Grandchildren; Amy and Frankie Carlson; Bethany, Allyson and Will Fisackerly; Roxanna and Logan Cantley; Lexy Vaughan. Step-Great Grandchild Eric Vaughan. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Cletus Price officiating. Burial will follow in Older Cemetery, Kelley's Creek, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
