Lillian Arvella Myers Wood Phelps, 81, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday Feb. 3, 2011. She was a former employee of Nu-Way Cleaners and Superior Laundry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Irene Myers; brother, Richard Myers; sisters, Deloris Myers and Kathleen Myers Kisamore; great-granddaughter, Kelsie Jo Thomas. Surviving are her sons, Bobby Truluck and wife, Angelia of Darlington, SC; Carl "Joe" Truluck of Nitro, and Raymond Truluck and wife, Kathy of Gassaway; daughter, Judy Shokes and husband, Mike of Charleston, South Carolina; brothers, Donald Myers of Pebbles, Ohio, Eugene Myers of Lynchburg, Ohio, and Charles Myers and wife, Leslee of Charleston; sister, Sharon Myers Newhouse of Elkview; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and friends left to mourn her passing. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday February 7, 2011, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with the Rev. Rick L. McCracken officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
