Lester H. "Bubby" Jones, 63, of Ivydale, formerly of Sissonville, entered into his heavenly rest, after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, T.J. and Pauline Jones. Bubby, loved to make people laugh, never met a stranger, and was loved by everybody. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving are sons, Matt Jones and Melea, Lucas Jones and wife, Stacey all of Sissonville; brothers, Jack Jones and wife Julie of South Charleston, Butch Jones and wife, Angie of Alum Creek, Adrain Jones and wife, Cindy of Winfield; sisters, Linda Edens and Carolyn Jones of Charleston, and Vonda Middleton and husband, Ted of Sissonville; grandchildren, Taylor Jones, Kaylee Jones, Makayla Jones, and Maddy Jones; companion, Dreama Anderson of Ivydale; step-sons, Matthew and Stephen Anderson of Ivydale; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family requests Donations in Lester's name to Let's Go Fishin' for a Cure, 2486 Highway 16, Marion, VA 24354 Memorial Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, May 19, 2013, at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with Pastor John Fowler, and Pastor Chris Stout officiating.
