Obituary
Lena Venessa Boggess, 63 of Sissonville passed away April 19, 2019 at Hubbard Hospice House.
Lena was formerly employed at Casci and Dollar General, Sissonville.
She loved her family, loving mother, amazing sister and adored her grandchildren. Lena knew no stranger, and was a friend to all.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Boggess, II and companion Sarah Nielsen; daughter, Ayla Truman and husband James; sister, Nancy Spencer and companion Nathan L. Harvey; grandchildren, Morgan Estep, Mycheala Boggess, Shayln Harvey, LaBella Ross, Hayylee Ross, Nova Truman, Nancy Truman, Cierra and Logan Shilling and Curtis Truman; great grandchildren, Paisley Garnes and one on the way.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, April 22, 2019 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Homer Wiseman officiating. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to services, also on Monday. Burial will follow in Sissonville Memorial Gardens, Sissonville.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, Post Office Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis Tennesee 38148-0142 or donors@stjude.org.
