Lela Haynes Lela Haynes, 86 of Sissonville, passed away at her residence, March 8, 2010, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, General Wesley Haynes; parents, Jesse and Audrey Young; son, Wesley "Butch" Haynes; brothers, Doug, Jesse and Bob Young. Lela was a lifelong resident of Kanawha County, and attended Chandler Drive Church of God. Surviving are; son and daughter-in-law, Eddy and Sandy Haynes of Oak Island, North Carolina; daughter and son-in-law, Nena and Mark Jarrett of Sissonville, daughter-in-law, Marlena Haynes of Sissonville; sisters, Myrtle Alexa of St. Augustine, Florida, and Norma and brother-in-law Sheldon Henson of Sissonville; grandchildren, Corky Haynes, Kim Good, Dana Haynes, Kelly Buckalew, Stacey Brantley, Scott Haynes, Chrissy Knapp and Mark Jarrett, Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston, with the Rev. David McCormick and the Rev. Tim Warden officiating. Burial will be in Young Cemetery, Sissonville. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
