Laura Frances Black, 78, of Charleston, went home to be with the Lord, February 19, 2015, in Thomas Memorial Hospital. Laura attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church, South Charleston. She worked for Goodwill Industries and Shawnee Hills. Surviving are her brother, Andrew M. Black of Charleston; sister, Mildred Hovda of Broomfield, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1l:00 AM Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston , with the Rev. Steve White and Jim Burgess officiating. Burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services Tuesday.
