Larry E. Martin, II, 54, of Charleston, passed away August 10, 2011 after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his Granny, Nellie G. Ullom; grandfathers, Wayne Ullom and Kenneth Martin; step-grandfather Edward Hall; and father-in-law, Edward E. Gravely. Survivors include his loving wife, Niomia E. Martin of Charleston; children, Christopher L. Coe of Charleston, Jason L. Martin of Ravenswood and Jessica N. Lesher of Roane County; parents Larry E. Martin, Sr. of St. Cloud, FL and Edna Blanche Hall and her husband, Kenneth of Spencer; grandmother, Dorothy Hall of Spencer; siblings, Terry L. Martin and Allen Martin both of Akron, OH, Tim Martin and Marlena Martin-King both of North Carolina, Brenda Webb and Sandy Batten both of Roane County; and Phyllis Donahoo of Spencer; and eight grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 15, 2011 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Pete Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Sunday, also at the funeral home.
