Kenton Haskell Burdette Kenton Haskell Burdette, 62, of Charleston, died September 26, 2016, in Thomas Memorial Hospital. He was a heavy equipment operator, and worked out of the Operating Engineers Union. Kenton was preceded in death by his parents, Haskell and Ruth Newhouse Burdette; brothers, Uklet and James Burdette. Surviving are his step-son, Eddie Harrison and girlfriend, Jessica Taylor of Sissonville; brother, Roger Burdette of Sissonville; sisters, Lilly Bostic of Kenna, and Beulah Jones of Sissonville; grandchild, Ashlea Harrison. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2016 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home, Charleston with the Rev. Gordon Killion officiating. Burial will be in Boyd - Burdette Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.
