Obituary
Kathryn A. Lanham Carpenter, passed away peacefully at the age of 96, on Monday April 15, 2019 at the Concord Village Nursing Home in Concord Township, Ohio.
Kathryn was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Charleston, WV. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens and made the cover of Better Homes and Garden.
Preceding her in death were her husband Baird A. Carpenter; parents, Henry and Rhoda Lanham; brother, Chester Lanham and daughter, Beverley J. Schoolcraft-Bell.
She is survived by her 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed and remembered.
Graveside services will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 1:30 PM at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, 5233 Rocky Fork Road, Cross Lanes, WV 25313, with the Rev. Bill Tanzey officiating.
