Charleston
Karl Lynn Nester, 72, of Charleston, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2026.
Karl was a truckdriver by profession for over 40 years, 20 years plus being with Estes Express Line. Throughout his life, he enjoyed the freedom of the open road and the simple pleasures of spending time outdoors, riding motorcycles, fishing and camping.
Whether he was out enjoying nature or spending time with family and friends, he found happiness in life's everyday moments. Karl had a wonderful sense of humor and was especially known for his love of telling jokes and
sharing stories. His humor, easygoing nature, and memorable stories will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
Karl is survived by his siblings: Carolyn and Alfredo Medina of Elyria, Ohio; Steve Nester and his wife, Tammy, of Charleston, West Virginia; Rodney Nester of Cleveland, Ohio;
Robert Nester of Elyria, Ohio; Roger Black of Kentucky; Cheyenne Nester of South Kentucky; Timothy Nester of Akron, Ohio; and Tammey Nester of Lorain, Ohio. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
While his journey has come to an end, the stories and memories he leaves behind will continue to be shared for generations to come.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
