Karen L Thaxton – Hunt, she was a homemaker, and she also loved to cook & sew. She was a member of the Union Valley Gospel Tabernacle Church.

She is survived by husband Donald J Hunt, son Timothy Thaxton (Vonda), daughters Pansie Chandler (Ted), Renee Davis (David), Jennifer Marshall (Randy), along with 8 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ervin Harrison, and Cloey Harrison, husband Jesse Thaxton, son Jeffrey Thaxton, brothers Elvin and Melvin Harrison, Nobert Harrison, Hobert Harrison, sisters Irene Thaxton, Myrtle Hunt, Inez Burford, stepsister Tina Fowler, half-sister Roxalee Thaxton, and grandson Jeffrey Moore.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday August 2nd 2025 at Cunningham Parker Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Legg officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow at Floral Hills Garden of Memories in Sissonville, WV.
