Julia A Bailey 98, went home to be with the Lord on August 1 2026. She was born on December 5 1927 in Charleston WV. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim Kelly and Nellie Kelly, her brothers William Kelly, Jim Kelly, her husband Monroe S. Bailey, her daughters Charlotte Hayes and Joan Newland, her son Keith Bailey, her grandson Terry Newland. She is rejoicing with her husband and kids in heaven.

She is survived by her son Dewayne Bailey (Joyce) and daughter Cathy Cordell , 11 grandkids, 19 great grand kids and 7 great great grandkids who loved her dearly. She was a member of Kelly’s Creek Community Church for 65 years where she took pride in taking care of the flowers beds at the church. She never missed church as long as the doors were open and she sung in the choir and she loved her church family. She enjoyed cooking for her family on holidays and family gatherings. Enjoyed taking her grandkids to church and telling them all about god. She loved her flowers and working in her flower beds.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday August 5th 2026 at Kelly's Creek Community Church with Pastors Paul Bailey and David Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Goff McClanahan Cemetery in Sissonville WV.
