Obituary

Juanita Murl Means, 82 of Charleston, formerly of Alum Creek went home to be with the Lord on December 6, 2012 following a long decline. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Clemeth Means; a son Chuckie; parents, Thomas C. Zirkle, Sr., and Edna I. Zirkle and two sisters Barbara Smith and Carol Anderson. Juanita retired from K-Mart on Patrick Street, was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loved fishing the Greenbrier River in Pocahontas County. Surviving her are son, David W. Means and wife Cheryl; daughter, Jewell Cook and husband Jim; brother, Thomas C. Zirkle and wife Wretha. Grandchildren Kimberly Ellis and husband Paul, Michelle Morgan, David W. Means and wife Sara, Daniel Means and wife Merisa and Joseph Means. Great Grandchildern Katherine, Alec and William Ellis, Sophia Morgan, and Warren, Addisyn and Miles Means, and special grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Holestine. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday December 8, 2012 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park, South Charleston. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the Funeral Home. The family extends a special thank you to Teresa Mullins for her loving care and companionship, and to Hospice Care and Hubbard Hospice House.
