Juanita M. Fields Butler, 84, of Ripley went home to be with the Lord, June 15, 2009. She was a retired Cook with Rose City Cafeteria, and was always a Social Butterfly. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.D. & Flo Skeen McKinney; sons, Robert A. and Lester K. Fields. Surviving are her sons, David C. Fields, and Larry O. Fields; daughters, Sarah L. Johnson, Angela K. Fields and Laura Oliver; brothers, Leonard and Roy Burdette; sister, Orla Burdette; 13 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday June 18, 2009 at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Thaxton officiating. Burial will follow in Jenkins Cemetery, Kanawha Two Mile, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
