Joseph Taylor, Sr., 52 of Charleston passed away November 11, 2012 at Ruby Memorial Hospital. He attended Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle Church and Humphrey's United Methodist Church. Joe enjoyed fishing, woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his family, never met a stranger and had a very generous heart. Preceding him in death was his parents Opie and Mary Taylor and brothers Frederick and John Taylor. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Jewell Taylor; son, Joseph Taylor of Nitro; daughter, Melissa Hanshaw and husband Brian of Dunbar; granddaughters, Gracey and Kaitlyn; brothers, Bill Taylor and wife Kay and Ronnie Taylor all of Charleston; Donald Taylor and wife Priscilla of Nitro; Clayton Taylor and wife Melody "Tootie"; David Taylor and wife Igy; Jim Taylor and wife Sherry; Charlie Taylor and wife Robin; and Tom Taylor and wife Cindy all of Charleston; sisters, Shirley Graley of Davis Creek and Janet Duffield of Charleston. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday November 14, 2012 at Kanawha Two Mile Gospel Tabernacle Church with Pastor George Webb and Pastor David Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Taylor Memorial Cemetery, Charleston. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to services all at the church.
